Brokers are secretly tolerated by corporations and governments alike, as they can often provide services otherwise unavailable to them. Even the church will turn a blind eye if it means they can acquire additional Deitech weaponry.
Making enemies of the brokers can be dangerous, as you never know who might be in bed with them. You could find yourself being visited by corporate security or government special operations soldiers.
All broker contracts are made with Trade Bank Credits. National or local currencies will not be accepted. If you don’t have access to TBCs, then you will need to do some quid pro quo work or find something of value to barter.
