This massive complex was built between 2037 PC and 2305 PC.
In 2080 PC, the Northern Bloc government vied to have as many corporate headquarters as possible built in Calcinam. The original intent was to have Aracosa Island as a sort of autonomous zone, where free trade would be encouraged.
While Northern Bloc still maintains complete control of the island (excluding corporate run port facilities) and the cities of Calcinam and Highland, the Corporate Park is still neutral territory. Corporate headquarters (and local holdings) are respected as sovereign territory belonging to their parent corporations.
The Corporate park is located in central Calcinam and is oriented north-south. There are two rows of 16 buildings on the east and west sides. Two more corporate buildings cap the southern end. On the north end are the two Northern Bloc governmental operations buildings, with the Bundestag between them.
Just outside the Bundestag lies the Millennial Fountain. A truly enormous water feature that features a large 200m basin, with a variety of statuary features and large group of jets that blast water 30m into the air.
South of the fountain is a vast park ~14km long and ~1500m wide. There is a monorail system that runs along the perimeter, providing quick and easy access to all the corporate buildings around the park.
The park is bisected in the middle by the A60 Autobahn. Just south of that is the Calcinam Center. A large entertainment (concert venues) and vendor area.
There are two lakes and forested areas, one each in the northern and southern sections of the park.
Note: The entire park region is protected by electro-optical jamming. No satellite imagery can be obtained and no unauthorized personal communications or electronics will function properly within it’s boundaries. This system is maintained and operated by a joint corporate/government agency. The park can safely be used for open air meetings and deals with no concern of eavesdropping of surveillance.
