Coreward – Towards the core.
Outward – Away from the core.
Circumferential:
Up-spin: In the direction of galactic rotation.
Down-spin: Opposite of the direction of galactic rotation.
Planar:
Hyperplanar – Above the galactic disk.
Subplanar – Below the galactic disk.
(Greek and Latin roots are mixed to avoid confusion)
