All dates that relate to AR are correct. However any reference to “CE” or common era (the date system before The Collapse) have been altered.
During the First Galactic War, records were altered to obfuscated the length of the war and rewrite history during that period. No one really knows how long the war went on.
It is sometimes documented as having occurring between 3500 CE and 4500 CE.
Records before the war are spotty at best. Only major events (without specific dates) are truly known, such as the arrival of the Falinjorin and contact with the Lacir.
The period between first contact with the Falinjorin and the war is sometimes called the First Golden Age, or the 2nd Age of Humanity.
Various date systems were used between the 2400s CE and PC, but they’ve largely been forgotten. CE is used as a global reference for the sake of clarity.
PC begins in 6708 CE (+/- the alterations during the war). It is presumed to be around 9100 (9093) CE in the present of the setting.
Note: The First Galactic War was actually around 3300 years. This adds 3372 years to the postwar CE dates, making the PC calendar begin in 10,080 instead of 6708 CE. The current year is actually 12,465 CE.
